About the event
Description: This presentation will cover the nursery setup, diet, triage (rescue or not; admission; examination; stabilization), hatchling/nestling/fledgling care, weaning & release criteria.
Bio: Connie Black is an avian wildlife rehabilitator who has been caring for wild birds since 2003. She is the founder/director of Destined to Fly, an avian wildlife rehabilitation center that specializes in avian insectivorous & Species at Risk baby birds from hatchling to release. Connie has spoken at the NWRA Symposium and NYSWRC Conference. She was also an organizer and presenter at the NYSWRC Virtual Songbird Symposium 1 & 2.
