Updates and Roundtable with Permitting Officer Stormy Gibson

Bio:

Stormy Gibson joined the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife in 2022 as the Permit Coordinator. Stormy started her career working with large mammals, birds, and education ambassadors at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. While pursuing her Master’s in Middle Grades Math and Science, she began her 14-year career in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education by working with nonprofit native wildlife organizations including Ohio Wildlife Rehabilitators Association, Lights Out Columbus and Ohio Wildlife Center. She continues to advocate for wild places, responsible wildlife stewardship, youth mentorship and community service.
