OWRA Issued Education Scholarships
OWRA provides continuing education scholarship funding for the OWRA annual conference. Please read the descriptions of the scholarships available.

This scholarship provides $175 to be applied directly to the OWRA annual conference registration fee. Applicants must be OWRA members and either an employee, intern, or volunteer with a wildlife organization or licensed animal professional OR be a current undergraduate/graduate student in an animal or conservation-related degree program. While the scholarship is applied directly to conference registration, all other costs, such as hotel and pre-conference workshops, are the responsibility of the recipient. Multiple scholarships may be offered annually to support the professional growth of our dedicated members.
Recipients of the Betty Ross Education Scholarship will receive a comprehensive package to enhance their professional development, including full registration for the OWRA annual conference, admission to a pre-conference workshop, one night of lodging, and educational materials from the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (NWRA). Applicants must be OWRA members and either an employee, intern, or volunteer with a wildlife organization or licensed animal professional OR be a current undergraduate/graduate student in an animal or conservation-related degree program. Available to one person annually.
